Trio Nabbed In Connection To Fatal Massapequa Overdose

Three men in a 2019 Maserati were busted with an alleged 35 glassine envelopes of a tannish powder believed to be heroin as police on Long Island were investigating a fatal drug overdose.

The arrests took place in Massapequa around 12:40 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, said the Nassau County Police.

According to Nassau County Police, as Narcotics Vice Squad detectives were investigating the overdose which took place in Massapequa on Friday, Oct. 28, they nabbed the three Brooklyn men who arrived in the area driving the Maserati, after the glassine envelopes were spotted on the floorboard of the car.

Those arrested without incident included Dylan J. Stanley, age 19; Kevin T. Mack, age 31, and Kashawn J. Mason, age 20, police said.

The vehicle was impounded as part of the arrest investigation.

Each was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Stanley was personally in possession of 15 glassine envelopes and was charged with one additional count of possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Police did not say how, or if, the men were connected to the overdose.
